Our Commitment
Moneyplant FX LTD is committed to preventing its services from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing or any other financial crime. As a company authorized and regulated by the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA), license number BFX2024047, we apply Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures to every client relationship.
Customer Identification and Verification (KYC)
Before an account can be used for trading, each client must complete identity verification. We may request:
- Proof of Identity
- A valid passport, national ID card, driving license or other government-issued identification, and a selfie or liveness check.
- Proof of Address
- A recent utility bill, bank statement or other official document showing your name and residential address.
- Additional Information
- Details of your occupation, income and source of funds where required by our risk assessment.
We may use trusted third-party identity verification providers to carry out these checks, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Enhanced Due Diligence
Additional checks may be applied to clients or transactions that present a higher risk, including politically exposed persons (PEPs), unusually large or complex transactions, and activity connected with high-risk jurisdictions. We may request further documents, such as evidence of source of funds or source of wealth.
Sanctions and Restricted Countries
Clients are screened against applicable sanctions lists. Moneyplant FX does not provide services to citizens or residents of the United States, Cuba, Iraq, Myanmar, North Korea, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, India and Pakistan.
Deposits and Withdrawals
- Deposits must come from an account or payment method held in the client's own name. Third-party payments are not accepted.
- Withdrawals are generally returned to the same method and account used for the deposit, up to the amount deposited.
- We may delay or refuse a deposit or withdrawal while verification checks are completed.
Ongoing Monitoring and Reporting
We monitor account activity on an ongoing basis to identify unusual or suspicious transactions. Where we suspect money laundering, terrorist financing or other financial crime, we will report it to the relevant authorities as required by law. We are not permitted to inform a client that a report has been made.
Record Keeping
KYC documents and transaction records are retained while the account remains active and for the period required by applicable financial regulations, which is typically 5 to 7 years after the business relationship ends.
Our Rights
Moneyplant FX reserves the right to refuse to open an account, to suspend or close an account, or to freeze funds where a client fails to provide the requested information or where we have reason to believe the account is being used for unlawful purposes.
